Clickair is a budget airline based in Barcelona, Spain offering services from a number of Spanish cities to almost 40 destinations across Europe. The main hub is Barcelona's El Prat Airport, with additional bases in Malaga, Seville and Valencia. The airline began operations in October 2006, with three Airbus A320 aircraft on five routes from its Barcelona hub. The airline's success is based on its strategy of optimising point-to-point daily flights, using modern Airbus A-320 aircraft. From its Barcelona hub, Clickair operates non-stop services to a growing number of European domestic and destinations, reaching as far as Moscow and Edinburgh. Central European destinations include Frankfurt, Berlin, Vienna and Rome. Direct services to Great Britain are operated to and from London, Edinburgh and Dublin. |

Check-in begins 2 hours prior to departure time. Check-in desks close 40 minutes before departure time. Clickair operates a free seating policy, letting passengers choose their seats upon boarding. Families with young children and passengers with reduced mobility are given priority in boarding. A range of reasonably priced food and drink choices are available during the flight and passengers can also buy articles from the in-flight catalogue. Frequent flyer miles on Iberia can be accumulated at an additional cost, while priority boarding is also available at an extra charge.
Clickair recently announced plans that they will be the first airline in the world to do away with check-in. Reports say that from 25 June 2007, a new system called 'Click and Fly' will be launched, which will eliminate the need for the traditional airport check-in procedure.
