Blekingeflyg

Blekingeflyg is a relatively new Swedish low-cost carrier offering services to and from Stockholm-Bromma, Ronneby and Visby in Sweden. Blekingeflyg tries to maintain low-costs by looking at new ways in which to keep fares low. The airline offers two daily services each way between Ronneby and Stockholm-Bromma, taking 1 hour, 5 minutes. Additionally, there are three flights a week in either direction between Ronneby and Visby in southern Sweden on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A new international service between Ronneby and Gdansk, Poland is scheduled to begin in August, 2007.

Flight reservations can be made online by members, with membership available online free of charge. A code is issued instead of a ticket for each journey, and passengers can check in with just the code and photo identification. Passengers must check in at least 15 minutes before their flight. Tickets which are not used or rebooked at least 30 minutes before departure are considered used and the ticket holder will not be refunded.

Ticket prices do not fluctuate depending on the season or day of the week that you fly. Children under two years old can fly for free with an accompanying adult. Children between the ages of 5 and 11 years are allowed to travel alone, while children 12 years and above are considered adults. Passengers on Blekingeflyg flights have a luggage allowance of up to 20kgs in addition to hand luggage. Luggage exceeding this weight will be charged for by the kilogram. All luggage is subject to security checks.

Ronneby Airport is the sixth largest airport in south Sweden (Gotland) and processes up to 200,000 passengers a year. Visby Airport is also in Gotland and is the region's only commercial airport. Stockholm-Bromma Airport offers good ground transport option and facilities for arriving and departing passengers.
