The airline provides services between Woodbourne, Levin, Nelson, Paraparaumu and Wellington International Airport. It does not run any international flights but its reliable and efficient services provide a valuable transportation options for travel within New Zealand. Their charter flight service is a popular option mostly for commercial bookings, while flight tours are a unique way for air2there customers to explore the spectacular New Zealand land formations from soaring heights.
air2there is a ticket-less airline; customers receive a confirmation number upon booking which can be used to check-in. Passengers are required to check in at least 30 minutes before departure and a valid, up-to-date ID must be shown. The airline offers a shuttle service which taxis passengers within a 7.4 mile (12km) radius from any of the air2there terminals. Seating is designated by the airline, but preferred seating may be requested upon booking. Refreshments are supplied on flights for an extra fee.
The airline has recently invested in a large carbon offsets scheme with an absorption rate of 1500 tonnes per year, while the annual fuel burn releases are 165 tonnes. From July of 2007 the airline will be adding extra services on their Wellington to Blenheim route due to increased customer demand. Proof of air2there flight itinerary allows customers to use train services to and from Paraparaumu Airport. Their fleet consists of a number of small and comfortable aircraft with a capacity of only 14 passengers, ideal for the New Zealand air conditions.
